The American Pain & Disability Foundation (APDF) was founded in 2019 by Johnna Magers alongside members of the chronic pain community in response to a growing crisis in pain management across the United States. What began as a shared frustration with a system that was failing patients has become a dedicated effort to ensure that people living with chronic pain have the support, education, and representation they deserve.
